Meet Our Founder
Jitendra, the passionate founder behind Capulus Beans, has always had a special love for coffee. His affection for coffee flourished during the preparation of civil services when he accompanied himself with countless cups of coffee, but, most often he found the same stale and over-roasted taste. Fueled by a strong desire for the perfect taste, Jitendra decided to uncover the secrets of aromatic and authentic coffee.
In his quest for the perfect cup, he ventured through countless cafes, roasteries, brands and talked to a lot of people. Listening to their experiences and tastes, he discovered a shared love for an ideal brew. This connection inspired him to pursue his passion even more.
Being an aspirant accustomed to studying, he immersed into the techniques of coffee brewing, conducted research, and spent hours contemplating the best brewing methods. He also brought insights from expert baristas and famous cafes across India to hone his skills.
Driven by his strong belief that a perfect cup of coffee can make anyone's day better, Jitendra decided to share his passion with the world. In 2021, Capulus Beans was born, a testament to his dedication to providing the finest specialty coffee beans and roastery.

We travel the world, from India to beyond, visiting farms in person to collaborate closely with farmers. With the only goal to discover how we can both thrive by selecting the perfect seeds, using less yet achieving more, and adopting innovative farming techniques to boost the flavour and richness of our coffee.
